Looking forward to the World Heritage Event in Blaenavon on Saturday 29 June 2024.
Blaenavon is one of only 34 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the UK and shares the status with Westminster Abbey and the City of Bath. Globally it shares the status with Mount Kilimanjaro National Park in Tanzania and the Golden Temple of Dambulla in Sri Lanka.
Each year there is a street parade and loads of events for people of all ages.
Danaqa will be renting a gazebo and bringing along our wonderful world of Fair Trade handicrafts. It will be our first outing for our new Selyn lines from Sri Lanka and our Ghanan musical instruments.
